QUIDDICH TRYOUTS: Gryffindor « Thread Started on Jul 8, 2008, 2:21pm »
Beautiful.
The one word that could describe today, for Christy. She was just named Captain for the Gryffindor Team, and she was told to hold tryouts whenever it pleased her. Well since today is beautiful, today was tryouts. An owl was sent to the entire gryffindor population in the school, and it was posted everywhere with-in a matter of seconds. She Flew to the qiuddich pitch, everyone seen the blue streak flowing smoothly throught the air.
Once Christy had reached the pitch she smiled, she was glad to be there. She felt the grass on her feet, and remembered her first tryout. She was scared, she had never played, or anything before, she didn't even really know what she was doing. She picked something up, and swung at the huge thing that was moving toward her fast, and from then on she was Appointed Beater, and she was fine with that.
QUIDDICH TRYOUTS: GRYFFINDOR
A banner stood high reading Quiddich tryouts: Gryffindor. Christy stood under it for a moment but not too long. She had used glamor, she looked like a human now, no wings or anything, just a normal human being.She stood with her hands on her hips, as the students started to file in to the Pitch.
"I want to thank you all for coming out for the Quiddich Team. I will tell you this now, im not the greatest speech person in the world, i dont give pep talks, i dont give winning speeches. When i play i play just to play. If we win we win, if we lose well then try harder next time. I want this to be a fun experence for everyone not just myself." She said looking at each and everyone of them.
"Ok I want Chasers in the center, Keepers at the far goal, Seekers at the other goal, beaters with me." She said to them. "First i want everyone to warm up, i dont plan to have people hurt, then come and report to me, and tell me your name, your year and your postion. I personal dont care why you came to tryout. The only thing i want from you is to do your best, today." She said and looked at them. "Keepers will get a Quaffle, and they will split into even teams, and take turns try to block a quaffle from the going into the goals. Seekers, you will stay at the other end and just try to catch the snich, and once you have you let it go and let someone else, and the first one to catch it report to me, so on and so forth, I will be placing a charm up around each area so that no other player will leave or enter anothers area, and all your equipment will stay in your area. Chasers you are in the center of the pitch you will practice throwing the Quaffle around, and catching. The first one to drop it will report to me, that is the same for the keepers. Now the beaters, i want you to pick up a bat and you will be playing just over there on the other side of the Chasers, and the Chasers wont get hurt in anyway because of the charms, I want you guys to pratice on the ground first you are going to pratice hitting a bludger, they aren't easiy, and then when i say so you are going to take to the sky to practice the moving at you, and you moving around to hit them, and protect your fellow classmates." She said to them, and then turned to looked at field, and a wave of her wand the Charms were up. "Now go and have some fun i will be watching everyone." she said with a smile, and let them all go.
